My Process

Setting Your Goals

During your initial consult, we will discuss your expectations and specific areas of focus. Together we will develop a schedule and make a unified commitment to the duration of time agreed upon.

Establishing Your Values

We discuss and identify what it’s important to you and how/if your daily efforts are reflecting them. We discuss what changes can be made and what skills you already have that may not be applied properly or missing components.

Identifying Your Obstacles

We discover what the real challenge is and how is it preventing you from reaching your goals. By establishing if the obstacle is something you can control and if its properly prioritizing it within your life. We will identify what actions, or lack of, are sabotaging you and why.

Envisioning Your Future

We discuss your vision of the future and if it is achievable. By deep diving into specific segments we can establish toxic components that can be removed while at the same time replacing them with positive alternatives.

Action and Accountability

Your participation and engagement has a direct effect on your success. By being present for each session and prepared to discuss the topic of focus, you will greatly increase your chances of success within your plan timeframe.

Deep Reflection

Every few sessions we will discuss your progress in depth. By evaluating your experiences and reflecting on the potential outcome of your plan, we can adapt and adjust to better suit your needs.

Brief Example of Techniques I Use

During the entirety of my transition I have used affirmations. Positive messages being repeated daily and over long periods of time. Using the teaching concept of repetition, affirmations replace negative self impressions with positive assurances.

My most effective affirmation has not only brought me a healthier mindset but also strengthened my self confidence. It was so effective that it kept motivating me towards my goals and setting new ones as I progressed.
”Always Be Your Authentic Self” - Juno McKay

This daily reminder has allowed me to be who I am in all situations. I have no reason to mask parts of myself simply because of another’s negative opinion. Not to mention the higher potential of finding other people that like you for who you are.
Because of the healthy impact affirmations have had for me, I incorporate them into my services. I will work with you to create personal affirmations targeting specific areas of your self esteem. Over time you will see how positive messages to yourself can change your current negative mindset into one capable of positive self image.
During reflection and review sessions, we will discuss your consistency and what results you are experiencing. As needed, we can adjust your personal affirmations or even add/remove some to better focus our target areas. Affirmations are highly adaptable and effective as long as you are consistently using them and reaffirming when necessary throughout the day.

Personalized Plans

Negativity and Positivity have vastly different traits that set them apart.

Negativity can be described like a wildfire. They are destructive, spread quickly and easily and are hard to manage or control. Positivity can be compared to nature. It takes long periods of time to produce results and requires consistent maintenance. With support, positivity can effectively heal damage caused by negative actions and even stop it from causing additional setbacks.

Using this model we can create a plan designed to counter your current negativity. This not only stops the spread but ensures we have the right goals in mind. We will also establish a period of reasonable time for changes to work and begin showing results.

Like Nature, many external forces can affect positivity by stopping progress or even setting it back. It is impossible to predict when or if something adverse will happen. To counter this, plans will have a level of flexibility built in. Extension of time or adding additional sessions gives us the ability to adjust when necessary.
